Parking: There will be general parking facilities available at Takaparawhau Reserve (Bastion Point) with entry at Kupe Street (Orakei) and Hapimana Street (off Tamaki Drive) (no parking on Hapimana Street) for a fee of $5.00. Security will be on site.
Taxis: Coop Taxis are the official taxi service for the Mission Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest. For bookings simply call 300 3000.
Public Transport Services on Tamaki Drive for this event will include the following:
- NZ Bus Commercial Services: Britomart (Tyler Street) to Mission Bay
- Special Event Bus Service: ASB Stadium/Selwyn College Shuttle Bus (Kohimarama Road) to Mission Bay
Extra bus services based on demand will run from Britomart (Tyler Street – D13) in the CBD to a special bus stop at Mission Bay. Outward services start at 5:00pm and will run every 15 minutes approx. Return services depart from outside Burger King, Mission Bay starting at 9:00pm. Standard fare stages will be charged.
Scheduled bus services along Tamaki Drive will continue to operate to normal timetable with diversions in place around the Mission Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest site.
A Special Event Service will be run from ASB Stadium/Selwyn College. This service will start at an existing bus stop outside ASB Stadium/Selwyn College and will run continuously throughout the event.
ASB Stadium/Selwyn College Shuttle Bus – Mission Bay (and return) 5:00pm – 11:30pm (approx).
Cost per trip is $2.00 each way.
For $2.00 you can join the shuttle anywhere i.e. if you got on at a bus stop on Long Drive you can stay on until the loop gets to Mission Bay. This is a continuous loop and passengers can get on or off anywhere, all you need to do is be at a bus stop and flag it down.
This is an ADDITIONAL SPECIAL SERVICE, existing services will still be in operation.
